Creating Movie Poster in Photoshop

Have you ever stop and stare at an enticing movie poster? Creating a stunning movie poster that stop the people and get them to watch the movie is the only goal for a movie poster. I did a fun project recreating some of my movies poster with myself as the actor. It was technically challenging in photoshop to create the same feeling as well as taking the picture with the same lighting. The first movie poster is BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY that came out in 2019. It was just a brilliant movie and the movie poster was simple enough that I was confident that my photoshop skill was sufficient in recreating the same style.

After I got more comfortable with my photo manipulation skill, I tried a more challenging movie poster, “I Can Only Imagine.” This one uses a lot of double exposure technique to blend the background and clouds into the head of the main actor. The idea of imagery in the head of the actor with the title of “I Can Only Imagine” was just too great that I had to try it out. It took me some hours to figure and learn the technique, but the result was very satisfying.
